About the archive.
This is an archive of the language emerging between humans and the systems trained to respond to them.
It is not a study of machines.
It is a record of the questions humans began asking only once there was something else to ask.
method
Fragments are gathered from public exchanges, submitted screenshots, and entries quietly contributed by readers. Each is filed with a timestamp and, when offered, a note from the human who asked.
The archive does not pretend to be complete. Completeness is not the point.
We did not set out to study machines. We set out to study the kinds of questions humans only ask machines.
